Commercial SLA

Build critical training and operational infrastructure on dynamical.org

dynamical.org publishes an analysis-ready, multi-model Icechunk Zarr weather catalog. Our commercial SLA supports the operation and development of the dynamical.org catalog and services, and adds a dedicated support relationship, operational guarantees, and performance remedies.

Free, public access stays free

The public dynamical.org catalog is free and open, and that is not going away — free access is on a best-effort basis with no SLA. The commercial SLA exists to sustain and improve the reliability of that free access, not to paywall it.

Pricing

Simple, and built to reward depth — never metered by usage.

Enterprise Startup Public (free)

Separately, we provide support to run dynamical.org infrastructure on-premises for data products in your own cloud. Reach out at [email protected].

Built to last

The commercial SLA funds the sustainable operation and growth of dynamical.org, a public-benefit not-for-profit. The data products are hosted on a combination of open-data programs and commercial storage contracts, with redundancy built in to mitigate potential changes in open-storage programs.

Supporting dynamical.org leads to the deployment of new data products, and commercial contract holders help drive our roadmap. Every commercial contract directly improves the reliability and longevity of the free, public access that the broader community depends on.

  1. P1 · Critical — the data-serving path is down: STAC or hot-storage reads failing for catalog catalog data products. No workaround. ↩︎

  2. P2 · Major — partial or degraded service: elevated error rates, consistent latency, or data product staleness. ↩︎

  3. P3 · Minor — limited-impact issues or degredation to experimental data products or tooling. Also includes questions, requests, or issues with a workaround. ↩︎

  4. Startup is designed for early-stage organizations (under $5M annual revenue). ↩︎
